Day 1 - Welcome to Zimbabwe
  • Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport where you will be met and transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, a sunset-facing lodge with spectacular views over the Zambezi National Park, including a wildlife-rich waterhole offering opportunities to view elephant, buffalo, kudu and other game, as well as a variety of birds including marabou storks.
  • Check in and continue down to the Buffalo Bar for lunch. This bar, once included in Heineken’s “Great Bars of the World” list, has a delicious menu with stunning views over the waterhole.   It is a favourite sundowner spot for guests and locals alike.
  • After lunch depart on a guided tour of one of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be awed by the sheer beauty of the largest curtain of falling water in the world, and your guide will enthral you with the history of the Falls, as well as detailing the flora, fauna and other points of interest.
  • Return to the lodge and to the Buffalo Bar for sundowners before dinner at The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show.

Day 2
  • Enjoy breakfast at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant, overlooking the lodge’s waterhole. Breakfast consists of an extensive continental buffet and an a la carte selection of cooked dishes, such as the ‘Livukile’ breakfast of soft poached eggs on toasted brown bread, honey glazed ham and grilled tomato topped with hollandaisesauce.
  • After breakfast you have a choice of activities from wandering around the town and visiting the craft markets, to adrenalin activities including white water rafting, gorge swinging and zip lining. Alternatively spend the morning at the pool deck, which also overlooks the waterhole.
  • At 1pm make your way to the Buffalo Bar viewing deck to take part in the Vulture Culture Experience. Witness the spectacular sight of hundreds of vultures swooping down and feeding on leftover meat scraps and bones from the on-site restaurants.This supplementary feeding programme aids the survival of these remarkable but endangered birds.
  • Lunch at the Buffalo Bar or pool deck
  • You will be collected from the lodge for your sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, Africa’s fourth longest, where you will enjoy snacks and drinks, as well as the opportunity to spot wildlife such as elephant, hippo, crocodile and magnificent birds. This is a great way to soak up the serenity of your surroundings as the sun sets over the water and day turns to night.
  • Dinner tonight is at the award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant which is open on three sides and overlooks the waterhole, offering a unique opportunity to view game as you enjoy your fine dining experience.The a la carte dinner menu includes dishes with a local twist such as the popular flame-grilled warthog and Zambezi bream.
  • Overnight at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Day 3
  • After breakfast you will be collected for your helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, for an unforgettable bird’s-eye view of this spectacular natural wonder and its surroundings.
  • Enjoy leisure time. For additional activities visit our Activities Desk.
  • In the late afternoon, meet up with your guide at the Activities Desk and depart on a sit at the Siduli Hide, located at the edge of the lodge’s waterhole, for an exciting opportunity to watch wildlife at very close quarters.
  • Dinner at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant
  • Overnight at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Day 4 - Welcome to Botswana
  • After breakfast transfer to Ngoma Safari Lodge in Chobe, Botswana. The transfer time is approximately two and a half hours, including the border formalities at Kazungula Border Post.
  • Arrive at Ngoma Safari Lodge, which is a luxury, eight-suite boutique lodge built on a ridge with panoramic views of the wildlife-rich Chobe River and floodplain.
  • Check in and lunch
  • Depart on an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park and enjoy sundowners there.
  • Return to the lodge and enjoy dinner under the stars (weather permitting)
  • After dinner you have the option of a night game drive in the Chobe Forest Reserve where you may see spring hares, baboons sleeping in trees, or if you are lucky, lion.
  • Overnight at Ngoma Safari Lodge
Day 5
  • After breakfast this morning depart on a full day safari in the famous Chobe National Park, also known as The Land of Giants.  The park is home to the largest population of elephants in the world and provides excellent game viewing and birding opportunities.The safari begins with a boat cruise on the Chobe River, where you may see elephants swimming across the river, trunks up, and a wide variety of other game up close.  Following the cruise, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, after which you will continue through the park on a game drive.
  • Return to lodge in time for sundowners
  • Dinner
  • Overnight at Ngoma
Day 6
  • Day at leisure to enjoy your surroundings. You may wish to go on an early morning game drive, visit Mabele, the nearby village for an opportunity to interact with the local community, or spend time at your suite enjoying superb views and cooling off in your private pool.
  • In the late afternoon depart on a short drive down to the river side and enjoy sundowners and snacks.
  • Dinner
  • Overnight at Ngoma Safari Lodge
Day 7
  • After breakfast transfer to either Kasane Airport or Victoria Falls Airport for your departure flight.

Built of thatch and timber, the lodge rises several levels, giving the impression of a vast open-plan tree house. The rooms have sliding glass doors opening from a light spacious interior onto the balcony, offering superb views of spectacular sunsets and bushveld.

There are six stunning private suites with views of the remarkable Chobe River and all it’s inhabitants; such as the famous Chobe elephants, huge herds of zebra or buffalo grazing on the floodplain. Each suite has an equipped bathroom as well as an outdoor shower and sanctuary.
